FancyFish Returns & Refund Policy

This policy applies to all FancyFish products (including AI educational toys and accessories) purchased from fancyfish.ai.


1. Return Eligibility & Period

  • 30-Day Returns: Items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unopened, unused, and in original condition with all accessories, manuals, and original packaging.
  • Opened/used items: Not eligible for returns unless defective or damaged (see Exchanges & Warranty below).
  • Exclusions: Clearance, sale, and custom items are non-returnable unless defective. Consumable accessories are non-returnable once opened with no quality issues.


2. Return Process (Must contact us first for return address)

  1. Contact Us: Before returning, email us at help@fancyfish.ai (subject line: Return Request - Order #[XXXXXXX]), including your order number, reason for return, and item condition. We will reply within 1-2 business days with your exclusive return address and instructions. Do not send items without prior approval.
  2. Prepare & Ship: Package the item securely, include your order number in the package, and send it to the address provided. Keep your tracking number.
  3. Inspection: We will inspect the item within 3 business days of receipt. If approved, your refund will be processed.


3. Return Shipping

  • US Orders: We cover return shipping for defective items and will provide a pre-paid label. For non-defective returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • International Orders: You are responsible for all return shipping, customs duties, and taxes. We do not cover international return shipping. Please arrange insurance and secure packaging; we are not liable for lost or damaged packages in transit.
  • Eco-Tip: Combine multiple returns into one shipment when possible to reduce environmental impact.


4. Refund Process

  • After inspection, approved returns will be refunded to your original payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.) within 5–7 business days.
  • If you do not receive your refund within 10 business days:
    1. Check your payment account transaction history;
    2. Contact your payment provider (credit card company, PayPal) to confirm processing times;
    3. If unresolved, email us with your order number for assistance.

  • Partial refunds may apply if the returned item is damaged, missing parts, or shows signs of use, to cover the loss of value.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (defective item, wrong product shipped).


5. Exchanges & 12-Month Warranty

  1. Exchanges: We only offer exchanges for defective or damaged items received within 7 days of delivery. Please provide photos/videos of the issue, and we will replace the item (subject to stock availability; if out of stock, a refund or equivalent alternative will be offered).
  2. 12-Month Limited Warranty: All FancyFish products come with a 12-month limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. We will repair or replace the product at our discretion during the warranty period.
  3. Warranty Exclusions: Damage caused by misuse, abuse, modification, use of non-official accessories, liquid exposure, extreme temperatures, unauthorised repairs, or normal wear and tear (including consumable parts like batteries) is not covered. We can assist with troubleshooting for non-warranty issues; paid repair services are available upon request with a quote provided in advance.


6. Additional Terms

  • Third-Party Purchases: If you bought your FancyFish product from Amazon or other third-party retailers, please contact the original seller directly for returns or warranty support.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid order number or purchase receipt is required for all return and warranty claims.
  • Policy Changes: We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. The latest version is always posted on fancyfish.ai.
